roos is a platform for contemporary art, located in a rental apartment in central stockholm. as a non-profit space, the showroom's activities are not reliant on sales, but if art is sold, the exhibiting artist/s receive the full payment. this website also showcases exhibitions located elsewhere, if they are in some way connected to the activities and interests of this platform. one could argue that the website is the most fundamental place for exhibiting.

i completed my bachelor's degree at the royal academy in copenhagen, and i hold a fine art master's degree from the royal institute of art in stockholm. i have also worked as an assistant to many artists from various fields, backgrounds, and contexts, as well as exhibited my own work in a wide range of exhibition settings, and collaborated with gallerists. here’s the underground part… what i have learned from all of this is that there is a myriad of things out there, beyond all hierarchies and across all frameworks, that smell, taste, feel, and sound like poetry. this is the driving force behind roos/making shows. sometimes shows happen often, sometimes less so. it all depends on what resonates with our time and how we perceive it.
