roos is a platform for contemporary art, located in a rental apartment in central stockholm. as a non profitable space the showroom's activities are not reliant on sales, but if art is sold the exhibiting artist/s receive the full payment. 
this website showcases also exhibitions located elsewhere, if those are somehow related to the activities and interests of this platform. one could argue that the website is the most fundamental place for exhibiting. 

i completed my bachelor's degree at the royal academy in copenhagen, and i hold a fine art master's degree from the royal institute in stockholm. i have also worked as an assistant to many artists from various fields, backgrounds and contexts, as well as exhibited my own work in a wide range of exhibition contexts, and worked with gallerists. 
here the underground part... what i have learned from all of this is that there is such a myriad of things out there, beyond all hierarchies and across all frameworks, that smell, taste, feel and sound like poetry.
this is the driving force behind roos/making shows. sometimes shows take place often, sometimes less so. It all depends on who or what resonates with me and who inspire me.
